Class | Handbuilt Mug Making with Potter Cait Deane

During this two hour long workshop pottery Artist Cait Deane will be demonstrating step-by step how to make a functional handbuilt mug, and teach participants how to build their own vessel using the slab building technique. During this class for creative adult beginners we will go over constructing and refining their mug, and discuss the firing process that their piece will undergo.
Participants will be given hands-on instruction building their mug and will be shown a variety of ideas to add ornamental flare to their piece. Cait will dry, fire, and glaze their pieces after they have been bisque fired and call participants when they are ready to be picked up, free pickup from BrainVessel can be accommodated or pieces can be shipped to participants for an additional fee.
Are you interested in hosting an event yourself?
We accommodate creative team-building workshops, bridal parties, private classes, and other creative project parties for up to 12 people. For walk-about events, such as networking and reception-style gatherings, we can accommodate upwards of 40+ individuals.
