Sterling silver post earrings of a twig that is split.
“My creations are hand carved interpretations of nature…land, sea and sky. Each peice starts in bronze or sterling silver. The solid black and dark areas are a patina that is burnished into the surface. My vermeil is an overlay of nickel free gold on silver. The many different finishes have different care instructions. the best way to avoid tarnishing on all jewelry is to minimize exposure to air when it’s not being worn by storing it in a sealed plastic bag. Storing jewelry in separate sealed bags also helps prevent finishes from being scratched by other pieces. If you need to restore a little luster back into the vermeil, silver or bronze, simply rub with a polishing cloth. For the satin silver finish, use a toothbrush with soap and water”.
