Fresh leaves from Grade A Chinese Tencha green tea are stone ground into a fine powder. Matcha, or ‘powdered tea,’ is traditionally delivered by bamboo spoon into a bowl of hot water, then whipped with a bamboo whisk into a frothy, rich brew sipped right from the bowl.

*Extra Tip: Whisk the Matcha well with a Bamboo whisk and break up any small lumps with the tip of your whisk while whisking tea. This assures the most optimal flavor and a smooth and creamy texture.
